  2. USTA regulations govern all play.  Point penalty system will be enforced at the referee’s discretion.
  3. Scoring:  No-ad scoring will be used.  Matches will be the best of 3 sets.  In case of split sets, a match tiebreaker (first to 10 points by 2 or more) will be used in lieu of the third set.  The Coman procedure will be used for switching sides during tiebreakers (switch sides after the first point and every four points thereafter).
  4. Starting times:  Players must check the draw which will be posted by 9 p.m., Wednesday, August 6th on this website.  Players without access to the web site must indicate so on the registration form and will be notified of the draw by telephone.
  5. All players must check-in for each match played at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match time at the registration desk at the Central Oahu Regional Park Tennis Center.  Players who do not arrive within 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match time will have their match defaulted.
  6. Warm-up, including serves, is limited to 5 minutes.
  7. Trophies will be awarded to the winners and runners-up in all events.
  8. If fewer than four entries are received for any event, that event will be combined with the next highest event.
  9. The tournament is open to players with or without a USTA ranking.  Players without a USTA ranking must enter at the level they would be ranked at if they had a USTA ranking.  Doubles players must enter at the level of the highest ranked partner.  Singles players must enter at their current USTA ranking or higher.  Players cannot play at a level lower than their current ranking.  You may verify your ranking at National.USTA.com.  Refunds will not be made to disqualified players.
